What's that again? Misleading headline of the day: a WaPo article slugged online and at MSNBC as "Middle Class Tax Burden Set to Rise" (the actual title is the somewhat less-misleading "Middle Class Tax Share Set to Rise"). Although the headline and the lede leaves the impression that the middle class will see a higher absolute tax burden, the article makes clear three paragraphs in that, as they say, it's all relative:

While taxes are scheduled to decline for all income groups, those earning more than $28,000 but less than $337,000 will end up paying a greater share of the taxes than they did before the changes.

Perhaps the Park Row pack is ready to write the headlines before they see the story?
